Business and reports related to impact of the COVID-19 situation dominate the agenda for Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Lamesa school board.
That meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with board members and the public provided the option of attending via the Zoom electronic meeting program.
One of the business items to be considered is moving the planned May 2 school board election to November, as allowed by Governor Greg Abbott.
That election will have incumbent Kelli Merritt and newcomers LaTrista Brown, Jay DeFee and Cam Wade seeking election to two available at-large positions on the board.
