County sees drop in active COVID cases

Dawson County recently has been averaging almost 11 new COVID-19 cases per day, according to the latest information available from the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD). The district’s website on Wednesday was showing that a total of 1,661 Dawson County residents have been confirmed with the virus as of this past Monday.
