Dawson County retirees will see a three-percent hike in their pensions after county commissioners agreed Tuesday to dip into the 2023-2024 budget to cover the cost.The item was part of commissioners’ discussions during a summer long sessions of budget workshops on the 2024-2025 budget that ended Tuesday.They approved the more than $17 million new budget and the new tax rate.
