Members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday took measures to ensure that adequate funding is available in the retirement program for county employees. The court voted to put an extra $75,000 in the fund plus increase the county’s contribution rate to the Texas County and District Retirement System from 6.41 percent to 6.75 percent of county employees’ wages.
