A proposal to consolidate the county election precincts for the state constitutional amendments elections on Nov. 5 will be considered when the Dawson County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday afternoon. That meeting will begin at 4 p.m. in the county courtroom on the top floor of the courthouse. Consolidating polling precincts is a fairly common practice in Dawson County during off-year elections when there are no races for local, state or national positions on the ballot.
