TAHOKA – Lynn County Commissioners met in regular session Monday at the Lynn County Courthouse, considering a routine business agenda and discussing the criteria of the county burn ban, which is currently in effect.The burn ban prohibits outdoor burning in all unincorporated areas of the county, with the exception of prescribed controlled burns of agricultural land that are conducted according to certain criteria.“The only outdoor burning that is permissible at this time is a controlled burn of agricultural land that has been prescribed by the NRCS, and the landowner must also prenotify the Lynn County Sheriff’s Office about the burn,”
