Dawson County commissioners removed a sentence in a proposed interlocal agreement that seemed like the city would exchange 9-1-1 emergency services for the county housing its nonmagistrated detainees in the county jail.That’s how county commissioners interpreted it when they met Monday to review the proposed interlocal agreement with the city over sharing the responsibility in providing law enforcement and jail services.It didn’t go down well with commissioners since the 9-1-1 emergency system and equipment isn’t provided by the city.
