After some recalculations it appears the Dawson County tax rate could be going up even more than previously planned – but with a bigger decrease in expected revenue. That basically was the take-away from a lengthy discussion about tax calculations and expected collections during the Commissioners Court’s regular meeting Tuesday afternoon.
