The annual auditing and final numbers of the county sheriff’s office forfeiture budget were presented to county commissioners during their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon.That audit shows the department has $6,224.85 remaining in the forfeiture fund that began with $9,811.38.“There’s been other years where we’ve had bigger seizures,” said Sheriff Matt Hogg.The funds are collected from property or money seized from suspected offenders.
