SNYDER – Scurry County’s seven taxing entities will begin finalizing proposed budgets now that the Scurry County Appraisal District has certified its 2021 appraisal rolls. Chief Appraiser Jackie Martin said she and her staff worked diligently to make sure all the information was accurate before certifying the rolls. Hermleigh Independent School District was the only taxing entity to show a substantial increase in certified values from last year’s values.
