Insurance and funding of various items and services were among an array of business handled by the Dawson County Commissioners Court during their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon. At the recommendation of consultant Cris Norris with the Henry Norris Agency, the commissioners court agreed to renew its insurance coverage on county property and autos with the Texas Association of Counties (TAC). Norris said the policies will cost $3,189 more than last year, with auto coverage dropping by about $5,900 and property coverage increasing about $9,160.
