Lamesa City Council members discussed Tuesday a packet outlining the policies and protocol regulating how its members ask staff questions or obtain information. Mayor Josh Stevens said the material is geared toward future council members who may need guidance in how to properly communicate with city employees or department heads. The document is not open to the public until the council approves its first and second reading, said City Manager Sean Overyender.
