Lamesa City Council members are making up for lost time Tuesday when they conduct a special called meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The meeting is special because council members canceled their regular monthly meeting this past Tuesday after City Hall experienced power outages as a result of severe winter weather. The agenda remains the same, minus some ordinances from the canceled meeting. The council apparently can’t vote on ordinances during special meetings.
