Two property owners got a reprieve Tuesday from the Lamesa City Council when it came to cleaning up or repairing their rundown homes and buildings. Council members conducted public hearings on several properties before either approving resolutions declaring them health hazards, extending the time period owners have to solve the problem on their own or waiting until they can get an estimate on the cost of clean-up efforts.
