Higher appraisal values could result in Lamesa City Council members cutting the municipal tax rate by six-cents.Council members were presented with the property value numbers during a budget workshop Tuesday that came on the heels of their regular meeting.Property values, tabulated by the Dawson County Appraisal District on properties situated within the city limits, added up to $343,058,461.
