A zoning request that has gone before Lamesa City Council members twice is again on the agenda for another public hearing 5:30 p.m. and action this coming Tuesday.
Business owner Paul Hernandez went before the council last month in an attempt to get the zoning changed on a parcel of property along N. Akron Ave.
The council, citing issues over increased noise and traffic in a residential area, turned down his request in a 3-4 vote at their Aug. 4 meeting..
“On Mr. Hernandez’ deal, he has refiled (the request),” said Mayor Josh Stevens.
