Following publication of the county budget and tax rate story in the July 29 issue of the Press-Reporter, County Auditor Rhonda Martin noted that the budget deficit of $75,000 for FY2021 that was reported in the story is a total deficit for special funds, not the taxing increases. Due to a typing error, the story incorrectly said the spending budget for the previous year was $413,207,700. That figure should have been approximately $13,207,700.
