It was cookie time at the Dawson County Public Library Tuesday afternoon. Lucy’s Flour Shop baked 300 chocolate chip cookies to go along with the children’s book, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie,” by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond. Baker Matthew Hernandez and his future wife, Heather, along with library staff, distributed the cookies to passersby while rocking out to children’s music and Disney movie songs. LPR photo ...
