With the start of classes beginning in just a few weeks, summer construction projects at Lamesa schools are nearing completion. At the same time, major construction work is continuing at the high school and plans for future work are quickly moving forward, Lamesa school Superintendent Jim Knight told school board members during their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
