Lamesa school officials rolled out a computer system that allows athletic coaches not employed with the district and organizers of sports clubs a different avenue in signing up to rent school facilities for practices and competitions.Officials notified about 30 coaches and athletic event coordinators, who showed up to learn about the new system called SportsKey, during a meeting Monday night in the high school cafeteria.“I know ya’ll rent our facilities,” School Superintendent David Ritchey told them. “Some of you rent once or twice a year.
