SNYDER—The Snyder Chamber of Commerce’s Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) Fund Committee will recommend a total of $31,500 in funding four events.
Karla Brown, representing West Texas Rehabilitation Center’s Big Country Christmas Ball, requested $4,000, and the committee will recommend the chamber board approve the full amount.
Luis Alaniz, representing the Cinco de Mayo celebration scheduled for May 1 in North Park, requested $10,000. The committee will recommend the chamber board approve $7,500 for the event.
Cat Geiger and Beverly Ridenour, representing the Petticoats on the Prairie Vintage Market, requested $10,000. The committee will recommend the chamber board approve the full $10,000 request.
