Six members of the 2025 Golden Tornado Jubilee Committee and six planners met Monday afternoon in the President’s Room adjacent to the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce to continue hashing out plans for an event that won’t happen for another seven months.The committee, comprised of Lamesa High School (LHS) alumni, have been planning the Jubilee, a mass school reunion of graduates and former students, since earlier this year.They scheduled their next meeting for 4:30 p.m., Jan. 27, 2025.The three-day Jubilee, held every five years since 1965, takes place during the Independence Day weekend July 4-6, 2025.The committee focused their discussions ...
