SNYDER – Snyder City Council member Vernon Clay asked the commissioners court to reconsider the location of the proposed new health clinic building during a public hearing Tuesday.The proposed location is just east of the law enforcement center on 37th street, and the project would be funded through the State Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Community Resilience Program Funds for non-entitlement communities.Scurry County Judge Dan Hicks said the 37th street location is desirable because the county already owns it; and that water and sewer utilities are already available at the location.– From The Snyder News ...
