SEMINOLE — In a special called meeting of the Gaines County Commissioners Court Monday morning, which lasted just under 15 minutes, the commissioners court approved a proposal to modernize the courthouse elevator. Gaines County Judge Tom Keyes told the court the elevator has been out of order since last week. When a repairman was called, the judge was told it is almost impossible to find parts and suggested it be modernized and brought up to code.
