The Lamesa High School (LHS) Golden Tornado Band (GTB) continued their undefeated season with another win over the weekend.They captured a first place win in the 3A/4A Color Guard competition.There was one Color Guard judge that judged a total of 47 Bands all day at the Lubbock Westerner Marching Festival at Lowery Field in Lubbock.The Lamesa Color Guard competed against 10 other 3A/4A schools from Seminole, Lubbock Cooper Liberty, Shallowater, Crane and Idalou.“We are proud of our GTB Color Guard,” said LHS Band Director Sonia Carrion. “They have been working hard all year to remain the top Color Guard in ...
