Howard College’s celebration Thursday of 75 years of “Making Dreams Come True” included recognition of a 49-year partnership providing college classes in Lamesa.Howard College President Dr. Cheryl Sparks led a special event at the college’s Lamesa campus to express appreciation to the people of Dawson County for their continued support.“This is a day about people, and celebrating those who have had such an impact on Howard College,” Sparks said to the small gathering that included a number of Howard College officials from Big Spring.Special recognition went to the late Dr. Wayne Smith and to Dawson County.Sparks presented symbolic metal keys,
