It’s back to square one for Lamesa City Council members as they continue their search for a company to fill in potholes, fix drainage issues and install curbs in roadways across the city.The council turned down four bids Tuesday when they opened them to discover one cost too much, two had mistakes in their calculations and another bid didn’t meet the job requirements.“We can’t take any of these,” said Mayor Josh Peterson. “One is too expensive and the other two have errors.”The council called for a special meeting Dec. 30 to vote on re-bidding the job.
