Some parents and kids were probably disappointed Tuesday when they went to the municipal swimming pool only to find a sign on the door announcing it was closed for the day.
The pool officially opened Monday afternoon with 174 visitors after being shut down for two years. The pool closed after the 2019 summer ended. It remained closed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It closed down again on what was suppose to be its second day of operation Tuesday due to a chlorine and pH imbalance in the water.
“We’re having some issues with the pool,” said Anna Cruz, pool manager.
