Restrictions on water usage in Lamesa will go in effect this Sunday and should last about a week as repairs are made to the main pipeline supplying water to the city, Mayor Josh Stevens announced Friday. Aiming to curb water usage by 75 percent, the restrictions are scheduled to remain in place through the following Sunday, May 24, Stevens said.
