Lamesa City Hall will be open but most other government agencies and related entities will be closed on Monday in recognition of Presidents’ Day. Among those closing is the U.S. Post Office, with no mail being delivered Monday. Regular postal operations will resume Tuesday. Also closed Monday will be all Dawson County government offices, federal agriculture offices in Lamesa, the Texas Department of Public Safety Driver’s Licence Office, Dawson County Central Appraisal District, Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, and West Texas Opportunities.
