Lamesa City Council members can expect a rather light agenda when they meet tonight at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall at 601 S. 1st Street.The biggest item on the agenda is the presentation of the city’s 2022-2023 audit report.Accountants from Terry & King, CPA’s will present the audit to the council before they officially accept the report and authorize its publication.The council will announce a proclamation declaring this month as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month.The council will vote for the second time canceling three council members’ May 4 elections due to a lack of candidates.No one filed against Incumbents ...
