After lots of discussion, adjustments and public hearings, Lamesa city council members are finally scheduled Tuesday to take a vote to adopt a tax rate for the fiscal year which begins Oct. 1.
Action on the tax rate is one of the items on the agenda for the council’s regular meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
The council is considering adopting a tax rate of 85.3826 cents per $100 worth of taxable property.
