Lamesa City Council members could appoint a new municipal court judge during their regular meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. tonight in City Hall, located at 601 S. 1st Street.The city has been without a municipal court judge since the former judge, Leticia Dimas, retired last October after 40 years of service to the city. She served half of those years as municipal court judge.Municipal court judges handle Class C misdemeanor cases such as traffic violations, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, assaults, and juvenile offences.The council could consider taking possible action on an interlocal agreement with Dawson County to furnish landfill access,
