A celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church was held here Thursday evening. The event began with a procession at 4:30 p.m. from Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church on South 2nd Street to Our Lady of Guadalupe at 407 N. Hartford Ave. The procession included the Matachines group from Midland dancing at spots along the route (above), and several floats displaying the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe (left).
