Local law enforcement officers were well aware of a Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden chasing after a suspect.The pursuit through two counties ended in an officerrelated fatal shooting in a neighboring county Tuesday night.Deputies were on their way to respond to the call; only to be informed that the situation ended before their arrival.Part of the chase entered into Dawson County and ended in Gaines County when the unidentified game warden fatally shot the unnamed suspect.“It only came through our county by Welch, north of Lamesa,” said Dawson County Sheriff Matt Hogg. “It went into Gaines County and never ...
