Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce is postponing their usual Open House event due to the COVID-19 outbreak that has already claimed seven lives in Dawson County. The event was scheduled for Oct. 21. “It’s Texas Chamber of Commerce week, and so we have an open house during that week,” said chamber president Karen Mize. “It’s just a chance for people to come to the chamber.
