Races for two local offices will be the focus of a Candidates Forum being hosted by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening. While the candidates in the contested races for Dawson County Sheriff and Precinct 1 will be featured, Chamber officials said all candidates in the upcoming primary elections have been invited to participate. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Forrest Park Community Center. The public is invited to attend and hear from the candidates.
