The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce board welcomed its new members for 2019 and discussed recently held events at their regular meeting on Monday.
New board members whose duties will begin next month sat in during the Chamber’s discussions.
Mark Ray, the Chamber’s incoming new chairman, officiated Monday’s meeting.
Ray officially will replace Larry Duyck as the new board chairman next month.
“I first of all want to thank Mark for stepping up,” Chamber President Sandra Adams said. “He will be in this position next month full time for a whole year because he is our new chairman.”
