Candidates for the Lamesa City Council, Lamesa ISD Board and Dawson County Hospital District Board are expected to participate in a Candidates Forum this Thursday. That forum will be hosted by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Forrest Park Community Center. There is one contested race with four candidates for City Council District 4, while the school district has two contested races with four candidates for District 4 and two candidates for District 5.
