The 14th annual Butterfly Release and Family Celebration will be hosted by Home Hospice this Sunday, but for the first time ever one of the events will be held in Lamesa. “In previous years, those who wanted to participate from Lamesa had to go to the event held in Big Spring,” Home Hospice LVN Rachel Gonzalez of Lamesa said this past week. “But this year an event will be held here.” Over the past five years that she has been employed by Home Hospice, Gonzalez said, there has been enough interest expressed locally that event organizers chose to plan an event here.
