There’s no school, no postal service and no shopping on Thanksgiving Day.The majority of offices, banks, stores and restaurants are taking the day off Thursday to enjoy Thanksgiving with their families.Students in Lamesa, Sands, Klondike and Dawson school districts have the entire week off. So do Howard College students. They don’t return to school until Monday.O’Donnell students, who are on a four-day a week schedule, return to classes Nov. 28.The Lamesa Boys and Girls Club is also taking the rest of the week off.
