Residential building permits, Tax Increment Financing and a mobile forensics grant were among the items considered by the Lamesa City Council on Tuesday evening. Council members agreed to temporarily suspend residential building permit fees, due to a state law signed by the governor last month. The city will go ahead and process those permits but will not issue them until the new fee schedule has been adopted.
