Saturday will determine the best of the best when it comes to cooking up brisket.The first West Texas Brisket Brawl will decide the outcome. The event actually starts today, but the judging doesn’t happen until Saturday under the pavilion at Forrest Park.Organizers estimate that 30-35 teams will compete in the contest.“Maybe more,” said promoter James Grayson.Teams can enter the competition during the registration period and by paying a $100 fee.
