The Lamesa Boys and Girls Club will be re-opening its doors beginning Monday to provide care for a limited number of its young members who are part of families involved in staffing essential businesses here, according to Tammy Wyatt, the club’s executive director. “Serving those families is what we’re here for,” Wyatt said. “I feel that when there is a crisis is when they depend on you more than ever.” The service only is being provided at this time to members who already have been identified by the club. “We reached out to those families and called them,” Wyatt said Friday. “We reached ...
