Although there was a very light turnout, the Klondike school district’s $8-million bond proposal was still fully discussed during a public meeting at the school on Monday evening.
County Judge Foy O’Brien and one other resident of the district were the only district guests in attendance, joining school officials, the architect and the financial advisor for the project.
“We still treated it like we had a room full of people,” Superintendent Steve McLaren said.
McLaren said Richard Constancio, architect from Shiver-Megert of Amarillo, addressed the group about the things that the district wants to construct and renovate with bond funds.
