BROWNFIELD - During a report to the Brownfield Independent School District (BISD) board of trustees meeting Jan. 25, Superintendent Chris Smith touched on the construction of the new Brownfield High School and mentioned the next school year will begin late. “Construction is going very well,” Smith said. “The academic part is almost enclosed now and they are going to start putting on the actual roof, which means they are starting to waterproof those areas so they can start the interior construction.” Smith said the construction is on time and the board is still working on the plans for furnishing, technology, and everything ...
