Lamesa’s downtown square will be filled with cars and activity this coming weekend as the Nuestro Car Club hosts the Springtime Shine No. 5 car show. “I think we’re going to have a really good turnout,” said Jaime Galindo, one of the organizers. “Even with COVID this year, I’ve had a lot of calls about it. “I think a lot of car guys are just ready to get out again.” Normally held in the spring, this year’s event was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
