One of Lamesa High School’s barbecue teams qualified for state after winning among the Top Ten high schools competing in last weekend’s regional competition.LHS provided four barbecue teams for the regional contest held at O’Donnell High School (OHS) Sept. 28. More than 20 barbecue teams from high schools in the area competed.Grillers were judged in five cooking categories: dessert, beans, chicken, ribs and brisket.“We did good.
