A couple of Golden Tornado tennis players have been recognized for their game on and off the court.Lamesa High School seniors Brade Barton and Frida Rodriguez both earned academic all state from the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA). Barton made the THSCA first team all state academic which is limited to student athletes who maintain at least a 97 Grade Point Average all four years in high school.
