The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce is planning its annual banquet for 2019. The organization will host the event on Feb. 7, at 5:30 p.m. This year’s banquet will celebrate the 100th year the Chamber has been operating in the area. Chamber President Sandra Adams said the Chamber still is working to finalize plans for the event. Each business that attends will decorate its own table and enter the table in a contest.
